Reminding that he set a target of 5 new buses in the 500 years he took office, President Soyer said, “The number of new vehicles included in the public transportation network with İZTAŞIT and İZULAŞ vehicles has reached 616. Today, this number will increase to 20 with the start of 636 new vehicles within the body of Yeni Foça İZTAŞIT. On the other hand, we provided 2019 million liras of support to the budget of Izmir residents in 174 million rides, thanks to the Public Vehicle application that we launched in April 200. We opened 60 new bus lines to the needed regions in Izmir. Our ESHOT General Directorate still provides service with a total of 390 lines and approximately 1300 buses throughout the city. Despite the pandemic, earthquakes, floods, economic crisis and all the disasters our country has experienced, we are fulfilling our promises to the people of Izmir one by one, step by step, and we will continue to do so.”

İZTAŞITs with high passenger capacity, equipped, environmentally friendly, suitable for disabled access, equipped with or equipped with bicycle apparatus, and inspected by in-vehicle camera systems, increase the quality standards in public transportation services.
İZTAŞIT vehicles, drivers and cooperative management are under the control of ESHOT General Directorate. All trainings given to ESHOT drivers are also given to İZTAŞIT drivers on a regular basis.
