New Traffic Regulations to be Made in Ordu Districts

The regular meeting of the Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME), serving under the Ordu Metropolitan Municipality, was held in February.

Organized under the coordination of the Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Department, the second UKOME meeting of 2023 was held at the Metropolitan Municipality Assembly Meeting Hall. At the meeting, reports from 19 districts were discussed and a decision was made.

In the meeting held, speed limits were re-determined in Ulubey District. Accordingly, the speed limit in the region from the Topçam turnout, which is considered the beginning of the Black Sea-Mediterranean road (Dereyolu) on the Altınordu-Ulubey road, to the Ulubey district entrance, was reduced from 100 km to 80 km.

30 AGENDA ITEM MEETED

At the meeting held under the chairmanship of Ordu Metropolitan Municipality General Secretary Sait İnan, with the participation of commission member institutions and organizations, 30 agenda items were discussed. While 18 of the items on the agenda were resolved, 12 items were referred to the subcommittee for examination and study.

PRIVATE MOTOR VEHICLE TRAINING FIELD OPERATING IN ÜNYE DISTRICT HAS CHANGED

At the meeting held, the commission report on the training of the Private Motor Vehicle Drivers Course operating in the district of Ünye and the determination of the application exam route was also voted and accepted.

SPEED BREAKERS WILL BE INSTALLED IN ALTINORDU, FATSA AND ÜNYE

At the UKOME meeting, it was also decided to make long-lasting asphalt bumps instead of the plastic bumps that wear out and disassemble in a short time in order to increase pedestrian safety and not exceed the city speed limits in Altınordu, Fatsa and Ünye districts.
