" said.

Minister Yanık, who stated that they made every attempt to help families find their children after the earthquakes, said that the 10-line call center created after the earthquake, ALO 183 and social media monitoring unit received notifications, information, photographs, etc. He said that they recorded all kinds of distinctive information and documents and integrated this information in the query screen that opened.

Noting that they will provide a faster and more effective result with the query screen that will contain all the data obtained so far, Minister Yanık said, "In this context, our citizens will now be able to quickly access information about unaccompanied children by entering the necessary information on the query screen on the website of our Ministry."

Two different methods can be used

Stating that there are two different methods on the query screen to access the information of unaccompanied children, Minister Yanık said:

“Information about children, together with all their distinctive features such as physical appearance, hair color, eye color, birthmark, photographs, are recorded through an information form. These records are then uploaded to the 'Deringörü' face recognition and matching system prepared by TÜBİTAK. In the system, a list is created according to the matching of the photos. The information entered into the system is presented to the user with the photo record.

Now, we have opened an inquiry screen on our Ministry website for unaccompanied minors. We provide our citizens with the opportunity to make calls with their TR number or name and surname. After the matches to be made through the system, our citizens will be able to make the necessary applications. On the other hand, those who cannot find their children can also leave a report on this screen.”
