Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, together with the Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu, examined the first container city established in cooperation with the Metropolitan Municipality and AFAD.
Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, together with Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu and Mayor of Kahramanmaraş Hayrettin Güngör in Kahramanmaraş, the epicenter of the earthquake, examined the first container city established in the city in a short time in cooperation with Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality and AFAD.
Stating that they are working with great devotion and self-sacrifice to heal the wounds of the earthquake, Mayor Büyükkılıç said, "We examined the first container city established in Kahramanmaraş by our Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality in cooperation with AFAD, together with our Minister of Interior, Mr. Süleyman Soylu."
Emphasizing the importance of the container city established in the Karacasu Temporary Accommodation Center in Kahramanmaraş, Büyükkılıç said, “Our only goal is to immediately create a home warmth for our citizens affected by the earthquake and make their lives easier with all our means. We will overcome this difficult process we are going through as one heart," he said.
Interior Minister Soylu also thanked President Büyükkılıç for his efforts and support, and stated that they healed the wounds of the earthquake together.
Mayor Büyükkılıç, during the container city investigations, was especially interested in the earthquake survivors, and once again wished 'get well soon' to the earthquake victims.
