Family and Social Services Minister Derya Yanık announced that they will distribute a total of 1 glucose meters in the first stage for children with type-XNUMX diabetes in the earthquake region.

According to the statement made by the Ministry, Minister Burning stated that Turkey has experienced two major earthquake disasters and they are trying to heal the wounds, and that they are trying to meet the citizens' access to health services quickly.

In this context, Minister Yanık stated that they quickly contacted the pediatric endocrine departments of state and university hospitals in order to deliver the devices to children with type-1 diabetes in the earthquake zone and said, “In the first place, we made our plans to deliver 792 devices to our children. Once the devices reach the region, we will distribute them on Monday.” said.

Noting that they will overcome this process with a sense of unity and solidarity, Minister Yanık said, “In this direction, as the Ministry, we will distribute a total of 11 glucose meters for our children with type-1 diabetes in the region after the earthquakes affecting 1000 provinces. We will use the remaining 208 devices for the demands from the earthquake region and the earthquake victims children with type-1 diabetes in the evacuated provinces.” he said.
