With a total area of 835 square meters, indoor and outdoor archery facilities, landscaping and parking, Shooters will also be the place where the heart of archery beats in Bursa.
The Metropolitan Municipality, which provides financial and in-kind support to amateur sports clubs in Bursa, renews the existing fields, and is always by the side of the athletes with projects such as summer and winter sports schools 'for spreading the sport to the grassroots', continues to bring 'specialized' sports facilities to the city. The Metropolitan Municipality, which laid the foundation of the sun and taekwondo hall to be built in Emek Mahallesi in the past weeks, is now providing an archery hall to the Shooters, the heart of Bursa's sports, with facilities where football, athletics, swimming, tennis and indoor sports are held. There are two indoor archery halls of 455 and 115 square meters in the project, which is under construction next to the shooters football fields. With a total of 835 square meters of usage area, indoor and outdoor archery facilities, landscaping and parking, Shooters will also be the place where the heart of archery beats in Bursa.
Investing in the future
Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş reminded that youth and sports services are one of the priority topics and underlined that services in this field are made for the future of the country. Expressing that they have brought new sports facilities to Bursa in addition to the renovation of existing sports facilities, Mayor Aktaş said, “Unfortunately, technology has taken our children who are in the age of games off the streets and imprisoned them in front of computers. Today, we are talking about internet addiction. We want the new generation to be healthier, athletic and idealistic. For this reason, we make our children do sports in healthier environments. Shooters are already the most important address of sports in our city with its sports facilities. With the archery hall we built, we will train athletes who have achieved national and international success in this branch as well.”
