China launched a new satellite into space today for the purpose of in-orbit verification tests of its new space technology.

The Shiyan-14.17 satellite was launched by the Long March-21 carrier rocket from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan Province, China, at 11:XNUMX Beijing time, and successfully entered the predicted orbit.

The launch was the 456th flight mission of the Long March carrier rocket series.
