International Istanbul Kitchen Days, organized for the 19th time this year in cooperation with the Turkish Cooks and Chefs Federation and Tuzla Municipality, started in Tuzla. Tuzla Mayor Şadi Yazıcı made the opening of the 22-day festival, in which 56 contestants from 78 different countries participated, competitions were organized in 92 different categories, accompanied by 3 juries. President Yazıcı wished success to the contestants who ate together with his wife Fatma Yazıcı.

President Yazıcı wished success to the contestants who ate together with his wife Fatma Yazıcı. Making a statement during the opening, Mayor Yazıcı said, “With the meeting of civilizations and the meeting of tables, our young people, who put forth their work in an artist manner beyond getting a profession, are competing. I am very happy. Each of the competitors here is witnessing a situation that is not common in every profession. They are trying to create a product that has never been before. We see the effort and the effort.” said.

President Yazıcı, together with his wife Fatma Yazıcı, visited the contestants and wished them success. President Yazıcı cooked onions in a competitor's pan.

“Our young people, who put forth their work in an artistic manner, are competing”

Tuzla Mayor Şadi Yazıcı said, “We are hosting the 19th international competition this year. We are in an organization where 56 competitors compete with the President of the Turkish Cooks and Chefs Federation and valuable jury members. The target set in the 20th is to be the only one in the world. Along with the meeting of civilizations and the meeting of tables, our young people compete with the spirit of artists who present their work, to promote their own civilization beyond getting a job here. I am very happy. Acquiring such a profession, each of the competitors here, is witnessing a situation that is not possible in every profession. They are trying to create a product that has never been before. We see this effort and effort. In addition, we see the production and the creation of a work. By using all products here, our young people contribute to the zero waste project initiated by Mrs. Emine Erdoğan. It shows that each product in the house can be used in many dishes, from the shell to the kernel. We see that we can reduce our carbon footprint and support the environment and ecological balance in the kitchen.” he said.

“They produce a work like a scientific research”

Tuzla Mayor Şadi Yazıcı said, “It is very important for them to create new flavors by combining each product. Our young people are doing research. I just looked at a competitor's product. 'I've been working for 4,5 months,' she said. By calculating each grammage, he creates a new work. It will be a unique product. Maybe it will be on the menu in a kitchen after its success here. Being able to produce a work creates a scientific work by doing experimental studies like a scientific research. He puts forward a theory. He puts this theory into practice, too.” said

“Next year we will be alone in the world”

Bayram Özrek, President of the Turkish Cooks and Chefs Federation, said, “As the federation, we organize this competition every year. It is being held for the 19th time this year and will last for three days. It ends on Sunday. Competing in 78 categories. We have 22 competitors from 40 countries around the world, 56 foreign judges, and high school, university and employee chefs in Turkey. It is held for the first time in Tuzla. Hopefully, next year, we will be the only one in the world in the 20th year.” used the phrases.

Tuzla Mayor Şadi Yazıcı's wife, Gönül Elleri Çarşısı founding volunteer Dr. Fatma Yazıcı said, “It is a very nice environment. Here we see the unifying effect of the kitchen.
