Celebrating the 20 November World Children's Rights Day events, which were postponed due to the adverse weather conditions, to 25-27 November, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality held the first program of its program, which was prepared to draw attention to children's rights, protect children and improve their living conditions, at Seferihisar Children's Municipality.
Puppets, dramas, pantomimes, folk dances, wooden legs and circus performances were exhibited within the scope of the activities organized by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Social Projects Department, Children's Municipality Branch Directorate with the slogan "I am a child, I exist with my rights". The fun reached its peak with the Children's Theater and the Subadap Children's Concert.
Entertainment lasted at Kültürpark
The entertainments prepared by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality continue with workshops for children in Kültürpark today. On Sunday, November 27, 2022, there will be workshops in the fields of science, ecology, cuisine, culture and art for children between the ages of 12.00-15.00, again next to Kültürpark Caskatlı Pool, between 5 and 14. Apart from the workshops, children will have a high awareness and fun time with sports tracks, awareness tracks and street games. Each workshop was designed in relation to the “International Convention on the Rights of the Child”. In addition, interpreters will be available in the workshops for children with language barriers.

On Sunday, November 27, 2022, next to the workshop area, the final of the 20 November World Children's Rights Day events will be held with stage performances. In the stage events planned between 14:00-17:00; “SGDD Alfarah Children's Choir, Izelman Kindergartens Sustainability Choir, Circus Performances, Mimdo's Pantomime Play and the Subadap Children's Concert” will take place. In addition, wooden legs will accompany the children during the activities, free children's books will be distributed from the Mobile Library and various treats will be offered to the children.
