Earthquake Simulation Truck came to Erzincan to raise awareness by giving citizens a realistic earthquake experience.
After the year 2022 was accepted as the Disaster Drill Year in Turkey by our Ministry, the drills continue by giving Disaster Awareness Trainings by the Erzincan Provincial Directorate of Disaster and Emergency. He continued his nationwide training in Erzincan with the Earthquake Simulation Truck in order to raise awareness of earthquakes within the scope of training and exercises. In the truck built on Ordu Street, one of the busiest streets of the city, AFAD personnel, citizens and students are given a realistic earthquake experience with the severity of earthquake disasters that have been experienced in Erzincan, Elazığ and Van before, and the rules that must be done before the earthquake, during the earthquake and after the earthquake are explained in practice. .
'AFAD Volunteers Inform Citizens'
While previous earthquakes in Turkey were experienced in the simulation truck, a brochure was distributed to the students and citizens attending the training at the outside booth, describing the precautions to be taken before, during and after disasters such as earthquakes, landslides, floods, avalanches and fires. In addition, the AFAD Volunteering System was introduced to the participants and encouraging information on volunteering was provided. Afterwards, citizens who wanted to register for AFAD Volunteering via e-Government. Citizens who registered said that it is a privilege to be an AFAD volunteer.
It has been learned that the Earthquake Simulation Truck will continue its training in various parts of Erzincan for 1 week.
