Between them EGİAD A joint declaration regarding the General Assembly of the Turkish Young Businessmen Confederation, held in Ankara from 15 associations, including the Aegean Young Businessmen Association, has been published. Aegean Young Businessmen Association (EGİAD), Akhisar Young Businessmen Association (AKGİAD), Ankara Young Businessmen's Association (ANGIAD), Balıkesir Young Businessmen's Association (BAGİAD), Bulancak Young Businessmen's Association (BUGİAD), Bursa Young Industrialists' Businessmen and Managers Association (GESIAD), Denizli Young Business People Association (DEGİAD), Eskişehir Young Businessmen's Association (ESGİAD), Gaziantep Young Businessmen's Association (GAGİAD), Hakkari Young Businessmen's Association (HAKKARI GİAD), Hatay Young Businessmen's Association (HAGİAD), Northern Cyprus Young Businessmen's Association (KKGİAD), Şırnak A declaration was published by the Businessmen's Association (ŞİAD), Yomra Young Businessmen's Association (YOGİAD); In the general assembly, important statements were made that the rights, laws and customs were trampled underfoot in front of everyone.

The first statement came through the social media accounts of the associations. Making its first statement on social media with the title “Young Business People Are Feeling Hijab About the General Assembly Process at TUGİK” EGİADmade its voice heard with a joint declaration afterwards. Aegean Young Businessmen Association, which is one of the founding associations of the Young Businessmen Confederation of Turkey, previously served as chairman, vice-chairman and high advisory board member for numerous times.EGİAD), reacted harshly to the general assembly of TÜGİK. EGİADIn the joint written statement made by TÜGİK with other associations, the following statements were included: “In the TÜGİK General Assembly held in Ankara on 02.02.2022, rights, laws and practices were trampled in front of everyone. So much so that the list of attendees announced at the call of the General Assembly was opened with the attendants, which included more than 80 different names, by giving place to the reserve delegates who were summoned improperly despite all objections, and all voting was done by this attendee. Worse still, the proposals for the amendment of the statutes were recorded as if there was a majority with irregular counts, by violating all kinds of legal rules, even though there was no unacceptable majority in a state of law. Delegates who demanded to speak were not given the floor by the Presidency of the Council, objections were not recorded in the minutes, and written objection petitions were not received. While the title of 'Young' was included in the titles of all associations under the umbrella of TÜGİK at the General Assembly, the expression 'Young' was removed from the title of our Confederation. The sole purpose of this change is to adapt the rules to the people. However, the main thing is that the institutions are permanent and the managers are temporary. What is more thought-provoking is that although there are 2 lists of candidates, the current administration changes the number of members of the bodies by increasing the number of members of the Board of Directors from 15 to 22, and the number of members of the High Advisory Council from 15 to 25, without informing one of the candidates. that the proposal has been given. It is clear that the aim is not to have the other candidate make a list. On the other hand, the saddest thing is that a President who came to the ballot box 12 years ago could not bring the ballot box before the General Assembly, although he was a candidate from two different lists. The most fundamental basis of a stable business life is trust in the rule of law. The unlawfulness in the General Assembly of TÜGİK, which claims to represent the business world at the highest level, has left deep wounds in the conscience. The principle of the rule of law was ignored and the law of the superiors was created. In the current world economy, where the borders in the economic sense are removed and competition is increasing, law is a must for us. At this point, as young business people who are the insurance of Turkey's both today and tomorrow, we condemn the Court Committee, which trampled the law in the General Assembly, and the TÜGİK administration, which supported it. We hereby declare with respect to the public that our quest for rights, law and justice will continue on all grounds, being more determined than yesterday, by all the associations mentioned below. It should be noted that; The law will one day be needed by everyone.”
