Izmir's First Duathlon Was Breathtaking

The two-day Duathlon İzmir Turkey Championship, organized by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality together with the Turkish Triathlon Federation, has come to an end. Arda Tepe in Men's Elite, Taha Eren Coşgun in Juniors, Emir Tool in Junior A, Taha Eren Coşgun in Junior B, Arda Tool in Yıldızlar, Uğurcan Özer in Paratriathlete, Paratriathlete Halil İbrahim Arslan in PTVI2, Paratriathlete Utkuhan Baydar in PTVI3, Tahir Erdemir in Paratriathlete PTS4, Uğurcan Özer in Paratriathlete PTS5, Eren Moray in M3, Eren Moray in M3 A, Yağız Sarıkaya in M3 B managed to cross the finish line in the front row before their opponents.

Esra Gökcek in Elite Women, Selinay Tuğçe in Juniors, Selinay Tuğçe in Junior A, Nehir Sümer in Young B, Irmak Şereflioğlu in Yıldızlar, Miray Ulaş in Paratriathlete, Miray Ulaş in Paratriathlete PTS5, Ecrin in M3 Çınar became champion in Delfin Eylül Avcı in M3 A and Ecrin Çınar categories in M3 B and took the first place.

On the last day of the championship, a total of 33 athletes, 231 of whom were women, struggled to win a medal on the running and cycling track in the Urban Forest. On the last day of the organization, where the athletes ranking in 23 categories were determined on the first day, the rankings in age categories were also announced.
