TAYK Eker Olympos Regatta Winners of the First Two Stages Announced 

The winners of the stages of Moda - Tirilye and Tirilye Koyiçi Races at the TAYK - Eker Olympos Regatta organized by the Turkish Offshore Racing Club (TAYK) have been announced.

 At TAYK - Eker Olympos Regatta, one of the most important races of the sailing season and organized by the Turkish Offshore Racing Club (TAYK), the winners of the stages of Moda - Tirilye and Tirilye Koyiçi Races have been announced.

The first phase, which started with strong winds, was completed in Tirilye.

The start of the race, which was held for the ninth time in cooperation with Bursa Sailing Club and Moda Deniz Club, with the main sponsorship of Eker Dairy Products, was given off the coast of Moda Deniz Club. The teams, who started the race with very strong winds and found more speed than they expected, sailed until Tirilye in cool conditions.

While Orient Express IV was the fastest boat to cross Marmara with a time of 03.06.32 hours, the following teams were the category leaders of the Moda - Tirilye stage:

• IRC 0: Orient Express VI
• IRC I: MSI Sailing Team / Anything Goes
• IRC II: Akkim Kimya Cheese V
• IRC III: Eti Alize
• Trip: Isko Sailing Team

After the first stage, the sailors started their preparations for the Tirilye Koyiçi Race, and in the second stage they struggled with high waves and difficult conditions. The category leaders of the second stage were the following teams:

• IRC 0: Orient Express VI
• IRC I: Target Sailing 40 – Trapeze Sailing Team
• IRC II: Logo
• IRC III: Eti Alize
• Trip: Isko Sailing Team

The fatigue of the first two stages was relieved with Eker Mangal Party

The sailors, who created wonderful views for the residents of Tirilye in the Tirilye Koyiçi Races, relieved the tiredness of the first two stages at the Eker Mangal Party. At the party where the leaders of the first two stages received their awards, the sailors shared their racing experiences with each other.

TAYK – Eker Olympos Regatta 2021 will end in Istanbul

The last stage of TAYK – Eker Olympos Regatta 2021, which offers sailors an enjoyable racing experience, will be in the form of Tirilye – Istanbul. At the end of this stage, the winner of the general classification and category winners will be determined.
