Siemens to exhibit smart solutions for transportation at InnoTrans 2016

Siemens will showcase its smart solutions for transportation at InnoTrans 2016: Siemens will showcase its digital innovations that will make the transportation industry more competitive and create more impressive solutions at InnoTrans 2016, with the motto "Rethinking mobility".
Siemens will exhibit its products and solutions in Hall 20 (stand 23) and outdoor exhibition area 2016/4.2 at InnoTrans 203, which will be held between 0-400 September this year. Siemens will have the opportunity to present all six vehicles to the exhibitors outdoors.
The new wide-line Vectron locomotive, which adapts to challenging situations, is planned to start service in Finland in 2017. ÖBB cityjet demonstrates the flexibility of the vehicle platform: It can be used both as light rail transport for city services and as a regional train.
Turkey has also produced for the first Velaro high-speed trains serving more than a year and already has more than 600.000 kilometers mileage. Six more trains will be produced at the Siemens factory in Krefeld, Germany. Siemens offers 74 driverless metro trains for Riyadh metro in Saudi Arabia, the world's largest urban rail system project currently in service.
In Doha, located in the State of Qatar, Siemens is installing a turnkey tram system including the Avenio low-floor trams. Trams will run without overhead lines. Designed for South West Trains, which will start operations in 2017, Desiro City will significantly increase passenger capacity over older trains while managing London's regional transport.
