TCDD Meeting with Bulgarian Railways

TCDD met with Bulgarian Railways: A meeting was held with the TCDD and Bulgarian State Railways officials in Kapikule.
A meeting was held with the TCDD and Bulgarian State Railways officials in Kapıkule about the construction of the wagon and the goods with the electronic system before the mutual wagons arrived at the border.
In accordance with the Intergovernmental Agreement, the information on the annual 40-50 bin entry and exit freight wagons of the Turkish and Bulgarian Railways in Kapikule was caused by the fact that the information was entered into the system manually by the personnel of both parties and thus caused to accumulate in Kapıkule Gar.
At the meeting, a protocol was signed for the completion of the electronic transfer of data until 31 May 2016.
Following the completion of the process, it is possible to transfer data to the customs administration beforehand, negotiations are continuing between the Directorate of Cargo and General Directorate of Customs in order to accelerate customs procedures.
