The tender for the Kocaeli Tram Line was concluded: The tram line tender concluded by the Transportation Department of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality was concluded.
Gülermak Heavy Industry Construction, which submitted an offer of 7,2 million 113 thousand TL to the tender commission for the project to be built on a 990 km long route implemented by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality to relieve the city traffic, was decided to be the contractor firm. If there is no objection to the decision within the 10-day objection period, Gülermak will be the contractor of the project. After the contract, the site will be delivered to the contractor company within a week. The company will start the construction work of the tram line after the site delivery.
KENT TRAFFIC WILL COMFORT
In the event of normal progress of the process, the work of the tram line will begin in approximately 20 days. The 7,2 km long Tram Line Main Line consists of 11 units with a total of 30.000 units and a warehouse, workshop building and connection line. The tram will relax the city traffic with the capacity of 16 thousand passengers per day.
PASSENGER REQUESTS WILL BE PROVIDED
Within the scope of the project to be realized, passenger demands of residential areas and recreation areas will be provided. The tram line, which will be integrated with other public transportation vehicles, will contribute to the reduction of the effects of public transportation on urban traffic.
