With the support of Beyyazı Mayor Asım Altıntaş, Beyyazı Primary School students read books in the windows of stores in Park Afyon AVM to draw attention to book reading awareness.
An exemplary project was carried out by students at Park Afyon AVM. Beyyazı Primary School students organized a book reading activity by dressing up as the heroes of the book they read. This behavior of the students, who managed to attract the attention of visitors to the shopping mall, was appreciated.
“Our aim is to draw attention to reading books”
Providing information about the project, School Principal Osman Yacan said, “We implemented this project to give our students the habit of reading books and to draw attention to reading books. "This event will continue throughout the year in historical, touristic and natural beauty places of Afyonkarahisar," he said.
Classroom teacher Halil Yağıcı said, "In addition to raising awareness, our activity provided a visible improvement in our students' reading speed and reading comprehension." he said.
