This year, TÜVASAŞ has designed various types (outline passenger wagons, various types of electric arrays, various types of diesel train sets) as well as maintenance-repair and overhaul of 400 passenger cars, as well as production of 46 units of Diesel Train Set wagons and National Train Project design and component purchase. activities were planned.

Milli EMU will be on the rails in 2018

The National Electric Train Set (EMU) Project, whose budget is approved by the Ministry of Development, is carried out by TÜVASAŞ under the auspices of the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications.

The first design projects of the train wagons including the wagon body, interior accessories and bogie were completed. Technical specifications of the main components such as air conditioning, brake, door, seat systems, wheel sets were prepared and tender processes were initiated.

The final design and production of train sets will be certified by TSI (European Union Common Operability Rules).

On the other hand, the tender process for the construction of the "Aluminum Body Production Workshop" to be established at the factory within the scope of the National Train Project is about to be completed. Tender processes of systems such as robotic welded automation systems to be used in aluminum body production, robotic processing center were also started.

The prototype series of Milli EMU is planned to be put on the rails by the end of 2018.

In the 2016 year, TÜVASAŞ contributed to the economy of the country by means of 148 million with the goods and services received through the personnel services and by the subcontracting companies in the city.
