Making a statement at the Bolu Mountain Tunnel Control Center, Minister Uraloğlu noted that immediately after the flood, efforts were carried out in coordination with all authorized institutions and organizations, especially road personnel, and said that 14 roads were opened to transportation.

Minister Uraloğlu stated that in the last 24 hours, floods and landslides have been experienced in the Black Sea provinces on the coast such as Zonguldak, Bartın, Karabük, Düzce, Bolu, Sakarya and Rize. We directed it to Eskişehir-Sakarya. I recommend that those who will go to Istanbul from here until they open this road through you, should definitely use the Eskişehir route. We have just examined it with our friends, a serious material has arrived, but we cannot carry out any work in terms of life safety as the rain and flow still continue under night conditions. We are following. We prepared our teams at the first light of the day and we will have carried out our work there. We will try to open it during the day. I would like to point out that in all landslide regions, both in the Western Black Sea and here, although we are deployed with our own vehicles, we need to bring and bring additional vehicles according to the size of the landslide or the hesitations that occur. However, I want to warn all our drivers here, we want them not to close the safety lane. It is predicted that precipitation will continue in Zonguldak, Karabük, Samsun, Trabzon, Rize, Artvin, Samsun, Ordu, Giresun, Sakarya, Kastamonu, Bolu and the surrounding provinces. Therefore, we will follow up, but we want our citizens who will travel in these provinces not to travel in non-essential situations. Transport Minister Uraloğlu's statements on this issue are as follows:

“We have already opened 14 of our closed roads such as Ereğli - Zonguldak Road, Kilimli - Filyos - Saltukova Road, Bartın - Arıt Road, Bartın - Amasra Road, Bartın - Kurucaşile Road, Zonguldak - Devrek Road. Together with the Ankara – Istanbul Highway, we continue to work on paving roads on 7 routes. As you know, a landslide occurred on the TEM Highway after the Bolu Mountain Tunnel. Currently, the Ankara - Istanbul direction is closed to traffic, but our teams continue to work quickly to open a road. Our road users going from Ankara to Istanbul should also use the Ankara-Eskişehir-Bilecik-Sakarya direction until further notice. As our drivers going from Ankara to Istanbul headed for the D-100 from the Abant toll booths, there was also a heavy traffic on that route. Therefore, our citizens should not set out unless necessary, and if they do, they should follow the instructions from all our teams working on our roads. They should also comply with the information shared on our variable messages and traffic signs on our roads. According to the information we received from the meteorology, it is predicted that the heavy rains on the seasonal normals will continue to affect tomorrow. For this reason, we recommend that our citizens who will set out in Bartın, Zonguldak, Karabük, Trabzon, Rize, Artvin, Sinop, Samsun, Ordu, Giresun, Sakarya, Kastamonu, Bolu and the surrounding provinces be careful and do not set out unless it is very essential.”
