Azerbaijan Railways Chairman Rövşen Rüstemov, who was in Ankara to attend the General Assembly Meetings of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) International Association, visited Hasan Pezük, General Manager of the Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD). During the visit, which took place in a friendly atmosphere, information was exchanged about the current railway situation of the two countries. During the meeting, new projects on the Baku - Tbilisi - Kars Railway Line axis and the development of the existing volume by increasing were discussed.
It was agreed to develop relations between the two countries and the railways by collaborating on training and consultancy services for technical areas such as development of railway infrastructure, digitalization, capacity allocation and traffic management.
