
The first cargo flight between the city of Kashgar in China's Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region and the German city of Cologne was made last night.
The cargo plane carried 27,43 tonnes of cross-border e-commerce products, including tableware and stationery. With the flight taking off from Kashgar International Airport, the airport's sixth international air cargo route officially became operational.
According to the information obtained, this flight is the first flight launched after the Kashgar international cargo charter aircraft operations were suspended in 2022. Thus, a total of 6 international air cargo routes became operational at Kashgar Laining International Airport, including Kashgar-Karachi, Kashgar-Islamabad, Kashgar-Lahore, Kashgar-Budapest, Kashgar-Liege and Kashgar-Cologne.
