Stating that the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure has made serious investments in Batman's transportation and infrastructure, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek said that they had the opportunity to evaluate all transportation and infrastructure problems of Batman and many projects at the meeting.

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu noted that Batman is a rapidly developing province, whose population is rapidly increasing, and rapidly produces added value, and that Batman will not be left behind in all modes of transportation.

WE ARE SERVANTS OF OUR PEOPLE AND OUR NATION

Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek noted that Batman has made great progress in the last 20 years, especially in transportation infrastructure, as in every field, and said, “The most important feature of our governments is that we pursue service politics. Service policy is essential. Because we are the servants of our people, our nation. This is the philosophy of our President. In this context, we will make a great effort to serve Batman, as in all our other provinces, in the coming years. The total amount of projects currently ongoing in Batman is 13,5 billion lira. This is a very serious number. We mainly talked about transportation issues, but there are also very serious projects and studies, especially regarding Batman as an important industrial base. "We will share it with you in a separate period, but our main topic today is transportation infrastructure," he said.

BATMAN WILL NOT BE LEFT BEHIND IN EVERY MODE OF TRANSPORTATION

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu stated that the works on the divided road from the ring road to other provinces in Batman are continuing and said, “We have made the necessary tenders for the construction of both the Hasankeyf road, the OIZ connection and the Diktepe Bridge, and we are following them closely. There is an agenda regarding the construction of a cargo terminal at the airport, we will examine it. There is a request regarding the feasibility of flights to Antalya and Izmir, we will try to resolve it by discussing with the operators. There are railway-related OIZ connections, we will talk about them and work together on the planned new OIZs and the railway connection to existing OIZs. Batman is a rapidly developing city, with a rapidly increasing population and rapidly producing added value. "I hope we will not be left behind in Batman in all modes of transportation," he said.
