Another important milestone has been left behind in the T625 GÖKBEY Utility Helicopter project, which was originally designed and developed by TAI within the scope of the project initiated by the Presidency of Defense Industries. GÖKBEY Helicopter, which made its first flight on September 06, 2018, left behind another successful test by reaching the maximum service altitude of 20 Thousand Feet for the first time. During the 1-hour tests, GÖKBEY Helicopter flew at this altitude with both twin engines and single engines.
Testing and certification activities of the T625 GÖKBEY Utility Helicopter, which is an original project of Turkish Aerospace Industries, continue successfully. 3 of the GÖKBEY Helicopters, which are in serial production, will be delivered to the Gendarmerie General Command in the near future. T625 GÖKBEY will be able to perform transportation, VIP, cargo, air ambulance, search and rescue and offshore transportation missions due to its wide range of missions.
For domestic and foreign users in need, the T625 GÖKBEY helicopter will be able to perform its duties even in the most difficult climates and geographies, at high altitude and temperature, day and night conditions.
