Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu visited Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TUSAŞ) facilities. Uraloğlu, who inspected the construction facilities of Gökbey Helicopter, Atak Helicopter, Hürjet, Hürkuş, ANKA and National Combat Aircraft KAAN, received information about the projects from TAI General Manager Temel Kotil.
Uraloğlu, who signed the TAI Book of Honor, stated in his statement that the Turkish aviation and space industry has reached an important position in the international arena and said, “TAI provides great services to Turkey in the defense industry. We are a country that has a say in the world in the field of defense industry with our local and national engineering products.
I would like to thank everyone, especially our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who contributed to our transformation from a foreign-dependent country in the defense industry to a supplier country today. “This success is clearly evident in the projects we have seen.” said.
Minister Uraloğlu said that support and interest in the successes and future projects of TAI, one of the important players of the Turkish defense industry, will continue.
