
Turkey's longest-running cyber security competition, "Capture The Flag-CTF", organized by STM for the 9th time this year, will be held on 27-28 October. Applications have started for STM CTF'225, where a total of 23 thousand TL prize money will be distributed.
STM Defense Technologies Engineering and Trade Inc., which develops innovative and national solutions in the Turkish defense industry and "Cyber Homeland", is organizing the 9th "Capture The Flag-CTF" event this year. White hat hackers will compete fiercely in the event, which will be held online this year on October 27-28. Applications for CTF23 excitement have started via ctf.stm.com.tr.
Participants who compete and achieve success in this year's CTF will receive a total prize of 225 thousand TL. The first team in the competition will win 100 thousand TL, the second team will win 75 thousand TL, and the third team will win 50 thousand TL. The winning teams will receive their awards at a ceremony to be held within the scope of Cyber Security Week.
They will struggle to find cyber vulnerabilities
CTF, organized by STM, which stands out with its innovative approach in the field of cyber security, in order to raise awareness in this field and develop its human resources, becomes the focus of attention of young people and cyber security researchers who want to make a career in the field of cyber security every year. In Turkey's longest-running CTF, competitors struggle to find cyber security vulnerabilities and take over systems. Competitors who will compete in CTF; It will try to solve cyber security questions in branches such as cryptology, reverse engineering, web and mobile applications.
Last year, 156 competitors and 613 teams competed in the CTF final, where 200 teams and 50 competitors competed. Competitors who participate in CTF and achieve success also gain internship or career opportunities at STM.
