Kayseri will be one of the first cities where the Türkiye Card Project will be implemented. Metropolitan Municipality Kayseri Transportation Inc. General Manager Mehmet Canbulut announced that Türkiye Card Integration studies are continuing rapidly.
The Turkey Card project, carried out under the coordination of PTT Inc., is also included in the 1st 100-day Action Program, Eleventh Development Plan and National Intelligent Transportation Systems Strategy Document and 2020-2023 Action Plan published by the Presidency. The project was initiated to enable Türkiye Kart to be used in Kayseri Public Transportation vehicles.
Kayseri Transportation Inc. General Manager Mehmet Canbulut, in his statement on the subject, emphasized the importance of the project for Kayseri and said:
“Implementing the Turkey Card application in a big city like Kayseri is also an important step in terms of integrating Kayseri public transportation with other cities where Turkey Card is valid. PTT Inc., Kayseri Transportation Inc. and E-Kent Transition Systems and Ticketing Technologies Inc. Leading companies such as are collaborating for the successful implementation of the project. “During these studies, technical innovations and improvements are also carried out in order to increase user satisfaction.”
Canbulut stated that the project is a work that will add value to Kayseri in terms of modernization and facilitation of public transportation, and added that integration and testing studies are continuing rapidly to implement the Turkey Card Project as soon as possible.
