Grow Your Dreams Development Program Held for the Second Time

The idea was spearheaded by Dr. The second Grow Your Dreams Development Program, organized under the umbrella of the Grow Your Dreams project by Dilek Kaya İmamoğlu and in cooperation with the Istanbul Foundation and KİPTAŞ, was held this year. 100 Grow Your Dreams scholars participated in the program organized to support young people's preparation for business life, on the 100th Anniversary of our Republic. Young people observed the working experiences of IMM affiliate companies during field trips, improved themselves culturally and socially, and prepared for business life with the training they received. 100 female students who participated in the program received their certificates at the ceremony held at Büyükada Taş Mektep. Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Dilek Kaya İmamoğlu; “I believe that this rich program not only broadens your horizons, but also gives you hope and courage. We will always be with you throughout your struggle and journey. You are women of the Republic, you are Atatürk's daughters, you can achieve anything. “Never forget this.” he said.

DİLEK KAYA İMAMOĞLU: WE WILL STRENGTHEN THE POSITION OF WOMEN IN SOCIETY

Dr. The "Grow Your Dreams Project", implemented by the IMM Istanbul Foundation under the leadership of Dilek Kaya İmamoğlu, continues to support the education and labor struggles of young girls. The Grow Your Dreams Development Program, which is one of the pillars of the project and realized in cooperation with KİPTAŞ, was held for the second time this year. Scholars experienced the business processes at IMM and its affiliated companies and gained experience.

FEMALE STUDENTS RECEIVED THEIR CERTIFICATES

Dr. Taş Mektep, which was restored and brought back to Istanbul by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, was opened for 100 scholarship female students who completed their preparatory education. The certificate ceremony was held with the participation of Dilek Kaya İmamoğlu, İBB Istanbul Foundation General Manager Perihan Yücel and KİPTAŞ General Manager Ali Kurt.

“WE WILL STRENGTHEN THE POSITION OF WOMEN IN SOCIETY”

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Dilek Kaya İmamoğlu stated that they wish to provide them with living examples of how women can work in every sector, in every position, and be successful engineers, managers, technicians and reporters; “This year we are celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye. It is obvious what the Republic has brought to the women of this country. We will always protect these gains. We will strengthen the position of women in society. Women will have a strong presence in all areas of life as equal individuals of the Republic. As long as you believe and trust in yourself, you can overcome all obstacles and achieve anything. Many women throughout history have shown us this. She inspired us all. I believe with all my heart that there are many among you who will shed light on the next generations.” she said.

After the ceremony, a group photo was taken with the scholarship recipients.

THEY WERE PREPARED FOR BUSINESS LIFE

In the 'Grow Your Dreams Development Program', which was organized for the first time last year in cooperation with Istanbul Foundation and KİPTAŞ, scholars visited IMM and its Affiliate Companies, examined business processes and received training to prepare for business life.

In the program, which was held for the second time this year between 18-22 September, 100 scholars were prepared for business life through training and field trips. Within the scope of the field program, scholars; From Halk Ekmek factory to Museum Gazhane, from Waste Incineration and Energy Production Facility to Artİstanbul Feshane, Medya AŞ. He had the opportunity to see many areas from the General Directorate to the KİPTAŞ construction site.

EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP FOR 3000 STUDENTS THIS YEAR

“Grow Your Dreams Project” touches the lives of young people all over Turkey and supports their education and labor struggles. The project, carried out under the roof of the Istanbul Foundation, aims to encourage young people and instill the belief that "I can do it too".

Educational scholarship support provided to female students; With published publications, collaborations with institutions/organizations, planned events and developed communication networks, the “Grow Your Dreams Project” has a structure that feeds itself and expands in every field.

Within the scope of the project, it is aimed to provide educational scholarships to 2022 students in the 2023-1500 academic period, and to 2023 students in the 2024-3000 academic period.
