President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that there will be an additional increase of approximately 25 percent in hourly additional lesson fees for paid teachers and master instructors, and an increase of around 26-27 percent in foreign currency for the scholarships of postgraduate students.
President Erdoğan said, “We appointed 80 percent of the teachers currently working. In addition to the record number of appointments, we implemented the Teaching Profession Law and granted additional financial and economic rights to our teachers. Now, we are taking a step towards our master instructors and those who work in official educational institutions affiliated with our ministry for additional tuition fees. We are increasing the hourly additional lesson fees of these brothers by approximately 25 percent. Thus, we will increase monthly wages by 2023 percent in 91. We also increase the scholarships of our graduate students with National Education scholarships at varying rates depending on the conditions of the countries in which they study. We have made an average increase of around 26-27 percent in scholarships on a foreign currency basis. I hope both of our good news will be beneficial.” said.
