Within the scope of the project, which was aimed to provide training to 175 IETT drivers in the first stage, the trainings started to be held on the World Cycling Day.

NOSE TO NOSE TRAINING BY BUS

The trainings given by traffic expert Tanzer Kantık are carried out in two phases, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, technical information about driving is explained to the drivers. In the empathy and practice part of the trainings, bus drivers use bicycles. It is ensured that buses pass by at close range and are exposed to the sound of horns. In this way, it is aimed to put themselves in the shoes of cyclists for a moment in traffic and to experience the feelings of cyclists.
