Nevşin Mengü (born May 2, 1982, Ankara) is a Turkish journalist and presenter. He was born in Ankara. She is from Balıkesir on her mother's side and Manisa on her father's side. He completed his primary education in Ankara, secondary education at Ted Ankara College, and his undergraduate education at Bilkent University, Department of Political Science. He completed his master's degree on "Social Studies on Turkey" at Galatasaray University.
She started broadcasting on Kanaltürk television in 2005 and presented a program called Women's Club on this channel. Mengü, who started to work as a reporter in Habertürk a year later, left his job in this channel upon the offer of a Tehran correspondent from One Ajans and served as the agency's Tehran representative for 1,5 years.
Having worked for a while at One Agency, which provides production and communication services to the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation, the presenter also worked for the newspaper Hürriyet for six months. He worked as an editor and presenter on CNN Türk channel. In July 2011, Mehmet Ali Birand, the main news presenter of Kanal D, a member of the media group DYH, to which he was a member, could not go on the air due to health problems, and he presented the main news bulletin on two different television channels on the same day.
He started to write for BirGün newspaper on 31 October 2017. DW Turkish YouTube started presenting the One-to-One program every Tuesday at 21:00 CET. He presented the Main News Bulletin on Istanbul-based Olay TV, which started broadcasting on November 30, 2020 and closed on December 25, 2020. From 14 July 2020 YouTubeWhat Happened Today in Archived 15 September 2021 at the Wayback Machine. It offers daily news with the title. He takes part in the program called Middle Page, which started on FOX in 2021.
She is the daughter of politician Şahin Mengü. She expressed that she is liberal in terms of "perspective on freedoms" and "recognition of identities". She said in an interview that she has been vegan since childhood.
