Turkish State Railways (TCDD), which has made safety the basic philosophy in railway operation, continues to take steps in this direction. The General Directorate of Transport Services Regulation (UHDGM) registered its activities on the Safety Management System (EYS) and renewed TCDD's Railway Safety Authorization Certificate.
UHDGM General Manager Murat Baştor presented the “Safety Authorization Certificate” to TCDD General Manager Hasan Pezük with a ceremony. Speaking at the certificate presentation ceremony, General Manager Pezük said, “We have adopted the basic principle of spreading the safety culture and making it a behavior. As a result of the evaluation made within the scope of national legislation, the success of our Corporation has been registered. I would like to thank all our railwaymen who add value to our institution by making safety a philosophy of life.” used the phrases.
