President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said, “With this collective agreement, we are making a 45 percent increase in wages, including the welfare share. We are increasing the minimum wage to 15 thousand TL," he said.
"We are introducing a premium payment application of 4 to 6 percent for our workers who do not have any other employment premiums," Erdogan said.
Hak-İş President Mahmut Arslan said, “We have left behind an important stage. I hope that the resulting picture will be beneficial”. Türk-İş President Ergün Atalay said, “My and Mahmut's duty is to protect the interests of the workers.”
AT LEAST 15 THOUSAND TL WAS DEMANDED
The joint demand of TÜRK-İŞ and HAK-İŞ, representing the workers, came to the fore as “to increase the monthly gross base wage to 15 thousand liras and to add 15 percent welfare share to all wages after this”.
