STM's National Warships to Appear in Asia Pacific

Developing innovative and national solutions without slowing down, STM Defense Technologies Engineering and Trade Inc. continues to exhibit its national technologies abroad. STM brings its marine projects together with South Asian countries at the Langkawi International Maritime and Aviation Exhibition (LIMA), one of the largest defense exhibitions in the Asia Pacific region.

500 Different Projects Including MİLGEM and STM6 in Malaysia

Presenting its innovative national engineering solutions to the Turkish Navy, Ukraine and Pakistan Navy, STM is at the LIMA Fair; The Island Class Corvette MİLGEM and the STM500 submarine are exhibiting 6 different naval projects.

At STM stand at LIMA'23, Turkey's first national corvette project MİLGEM Ada Class, Turkey's first national frigate project I-Class Frigate, Marine Supply Tanker (PNFT) built for the Pakistan Navy, Turkey's first small-sized national submarine Project STM500, STM MPAC Gunboat with high speed-maneuverability and capable of attacking with guided missiles from surface to surface, and coast guard ship CG-3100.

Commenting on STM's participation in the Langkawi International Maritime and Aviation Fair, STM General Manager Özgür Güleryüz stated that they carry out cooperation, export and business development activities in more than 20 countries from South America to the Far East:

“Within the scope of design, construction and modernization activities for the navy's surface and submarine platforms to perform more effective tasks, we produce tailor-made and flexible engineering solutions. On the way we set out for the defense of our country, today we transfer our engineering experience and technologies to friendly and brotherly countries. We will take our place at LIMA, one of the most important fairs of South Asia, which will be held for the 16th time this year, with our highly modern designed military ships. We have the experience, engineering and technology to quickly meet all the needs of the friendly and sister country Malaysia on the seas with modern platforms. We want to sign new collaborations in the Asia-Pacific region, especially in the maritime field.”
