The Ministry of Culture and Tourism brought together traditional handicraft masters and children affected by the earthquake as part of the “Altıneller Meets with Golden Hearts Project”.

In line with the project carried out by the Ministry's General Directorate of Research and Education and prepared to provide psychological support to children in container cities, marbling and wood craftsmen held workshops for children in container cities.

In the event, where golden hands meet with golden hearts, where masters teach and children experience, toys such as spinning tops and traditionally dressed dolls as well as puzzles, coloring books and Karagöz training sets were presented to the children.

Making statements about the event, Research and Education General Manager Okan İbiş stated that they aimed to minimize the negative impact of the disaster on children and to provide psychological support to children with the projects they organized in the earthquake zone. Stating that they have reached thousands of children so far, Ibiş said that the activities will continue to be expanded and enriched throughout the year.
