Color Erbil, curator of 'Kau Wela', who made a speech at the opening of the exhibition, said, “We have prepared a mixed exhibition that reflects the summer we expect to live our lives in the best way possible. Welcome to Kau Wela, a summer that makes a difference. Let's awaken the sense of creativity within us and accept change by gathering energy.”

Referring to the importance of international relations for the spread and development of Turkish art, Devrim Erbil said, “The more the number of artists and works of art increases, the more the production in the field of art increases, the more we contribute to the development and spread of art. The artist is not ordinary by nature. Therefore, the more development areas these differences can find, the higher the interest will be. There are many good artists in Turkey. I attribute this to the abundance of Anatolian geography. We live in a country that contains the richness of almost 7 different cultural layers,” he said.

With the Kau Wela project, Renko London artists, who have different cultures, backgrounds and ages, prefer various spaces and techniques in their workspaces, aim to strengthen their contrasting experiences and perspectives.
