HOMETEX, which is among the world's largest fairs in the home textile industry, is getting ready to open its doors on May 16 at Istanbul Expo Center. Organized by the Turkish Home Textile Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (TETSIAD), the umbrella organization of the sector, with the organization of KFA Fairs, a subsidiary of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, HOMETEX will host industry professionals from different geographies of the world between 16-20 May 2023.
HOMETEX, which was held on a total area of 11 thousand square meters in 200 halls last year, brought together the national and international players of the sector at the Istanbul Expo Center. While more than 650 domestic and foreign companies exhibited their new products, 5 visits were made from 126 countries for 170 days, while the business volume exceeded expectations and reached approximately 1,5 billion dollars.
Begins May 16
Organized by TETSIAD, the umbrella organization of the sector, with the organization of KFA Fair Organization, HOMETEX will determine the fashion and trends in the sector this year as well. With its success in 2022, HOMETEX, which has been described as the most successful organization for the home textile industry so far by both participants and visitors, will host industry professionals at the Istanbul Expo Center between 16-20 May 2023. In addition to Turkey, manufacturers from all over the world will also take their place at the stands at the fair.
Design Wind at HOMETEX
At the fair, where the heart of the home textile industry beats, nearly 850 companies will take place as exhibitors with stands this year. At the fair, about 20 companies from nearly 200 countries will bring their products together with their visitors. The purchasing committees to be held within the scope of HOMETEX, which will be organized with the participation of hundreds of domestic and foreign brands, will also offer new export and cooperation opportunities to the companies. It is aimed to make a significant contribution to the exports of the sector with the fair, where potential buyers from many countries, especially from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, the USA and the Turkish Republics, will take part. Also at the fair, world-renowned designers will blend the products of manufacturers with their own interpretations and present them to the visitors.
