Are there any Ugly Betty fans who are desperately missing the captivating drama starring America Ferrara? If so, we might have a new show for you! Netflix has released loads of new information, photos and a release date for the upcoming drama Glamorous, led by Kim Cattrall, and it's coming this June.
Glamorous was previously ordered to pilot on The CW in February 2019. However, in June 2019, The CW chose to hand over the series. After over three years, the series has found a new home with our favorite broadcaster.
Fortunately, the creative team behind the series has remained the same. Jordon Nardino serves as writer and executive producer on the series. Two Shakes Entertainment's Damon Wayans Jr. and Kameron Tarlow have signed on as executive producers and are set to produce for CBS Studios.

Glamorous Netflix cast
When the show was ordered to be piloted on The CW, Miss Benny, Brooke Shields, and Jade Payton would star in the series. Now that the series is a Netflix original, it has been confirmed that only Miss Benny will be in the cast. They will play the lead character Marco Mejia. Marco is described as a gender-nonconforming queer young man. You may know Miss Benny from programs such as Fuller House, Love, Victor and American Horror Stories.
On June 10, 2022, Netflix announced that Sex and the City's Kim Cattrall has joined the cast of Glamorous. She will be playing the role of the famous makeup tycoon Madolyn Addison, whom Marco started working with.
On June 30, 2022, Netflix announced more series regulars and recurring roles.

- lisa gilroy As Alyssasays – Alyssasays is a former social media influencer working in marketing. She works on the marketing team for She glamorous by Madolyn and manages all the social media accounts of the beauty company.
- Mark deklin as James – an attractive, underserved documentary filmmaker who becomes Madolyn's love interest.
- Ricardo Chavira As Teddy – Teddy is Madolyn Addison's personal full-time driver and possibly best friend. There's a sizzling chemistry between the two that could potentially lead to more if one accepts.
