Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin, in her speech at the opening ceremony, stated that the Gaziantep Model continues its activities in the city and said:

“The scientific world says 7 is too late. The whole character is evident in the first 7. We need to increase the information that children can reach in the first 7 years of age. The structure that believes in this needs to increase. We have created a very important family package, from flexible working to social security. Because our women had to take their place in the knowledge economy. It's the head period. You cannot ignore the intelligence of half of the society. In order to make the job easier, there are 250 thousand employees, especially in the organized. These are the parents. The employee's pocket needs to be relaxed. The economy needs to relax. The fruit of life, the biggest claim of all of us is to raise beautiful children. But we had to achieve these in order to make this wish come true. We will multiply these numbers. We will keep costs down. We will prepare these children for the future.”

GÜL: KINDERGARTEN IS MANDATORY BECAUSE PARENTS ARE WORKING

Gaziantep Governor Davut Gül also stated that they go one step further every day and said, “Our enrollment rate in pre-school education is around 85 percent. Kindergartens have become a necessity as parents work. Currently, the number of our classrooms under construction is 6 thousand. As of today, our Gaziantep has been evaluated again. Only in Gaziantep 3 thousand 454 new teachers will be appointed, good luck. With our educator staff, we will bring our children, who will be employed, together with our new idealistic teachers. We continue on our way for our children," he said.
