Tolga Saylan, CEO of Erkunt Tractor, Turkey's first domestically designed tractor brand, celebrated the World Farmers' Day of Turkish farmers, who are the real heroes of agriculture, and stated that the increasing need for food along with the increasing population all over the world has increased the importance of the agricultural sector. He thanked everyone who contributed to the sector.
Stating that they have been walking side by side with the farmers for 20 years in the agricultural sector and that they have accomplished important works by contributing to the country's economy, Tolga Saylan said, "In 2003, Erkunt set out with the dream of offering a tractor that he designed to his farmer, and has 3 percent more torque reserves than the current 25A models. It has also realized this dream with its eCapra branded domestic and environmentalist engine and continued to add strength to the farmer's power. As Erkunt Tractor, we defined the name of this power unit as 'Farmer's Power' and we took our place in the field as a part of this power. Today, on our 20th anniversary, we share the happiness and pride of being in the farmer's vineyard, garden and field with the heroes we wrote this story together with. Our efforts to understand the wishes, needs and demands of our farmers correctly, our investments in R&D, our effort to offer the best to our customers, our after-sales services to the user with the highest quality and uninterrupted manner, gaining the trust of the farmers and making them feel that we are behind them at all times have brought us to these points.
