TENDER CANCELED DUE TO THE PANDEMIC HAS BEEN AGAIN

Head of Health Affairs Department Seyfettin Aslan, who examined the construction works carried out in Karataş Temporary Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, said, “Unfortunately, our Ankara has always been deprived of a modern temporary care home and rehabilitation center for stray animals. From the moment we took office, we immediately addressed this issue and in September, we held our first tender to build a center on an area of 2020 thousand square meters in Karataş Mahallesi in 93. We started the construction of a temporary care home and rehabilitation center with a capacity of 6 thousand stray animals, but we had to cancel the tender due to the pandemic. In the process, we realized another tender again in 2022. Our construction work in the field continues. We will complete the construction in a very short time and we will put a very modern temporary care home and rehabilitation center into the service of Ankara residents," he said.

Giving the good news of a second nursing home and rehabilitation center, Aslan said, “We have started the construction of the second temporary nursing home and rehabilitation center of 112 thousand square meters in Mamak Gökçeyurt. We also want to realize the animal cemetery project here," he said.

In the center, where care and treatment will be carried out in more modern conditions, there will be an animal hospital, sterilization unit, mother-pup unit, food unit, postoperative (post-operative care) areas, banned breed section, medical waste and isolation units.
