In the Balkan Mountain Running Championships in Montenegro/Niksic, Turkey won 2 championships and 2 runners-up and completed the competition with a total of six podiums.

From the Balkan Mountain Running Championships, Turkey left the competitions with two gold, two silver and two bronze medals. In the U20 men's competition, Abdulmeçit Açan completed the 6-meter course with 30.02.3 and became the Balkan champion. In the same race, Ümran Bulut finished fourth with 30.20.09, Second Mervan No with 3.02.0, and Turkey won the Balkan Championship with points as a team.
