The Presidential Decree regarding the delivery of natural gas to be consumed by the subscribers of residences, places of worship and cemevis free of charge for 1 month and the cost equivalent to 25 cubic meters for 1 year, has been published in the Official Gazette.
The Presidential Decree, which states that the natural gas to be consumed by the subscribers of residences, places of worship and cemevis is to be provided free of charge for 1 month and the price equivalent to 25 cubic meters is free for 1 year, entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette.
The Presidential Decree on System Usage Fees for Natural Gas Consumption published in the Official Gazette is as follows:
According to the decree published with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, no natural gas fee will be charged from the first invoice to be accrued from April 24, 2023 to May 31, 2023, for natural gas consumption from subscribers of residences, places of worship and cemevis that supply natural gas from distribution companies.
In addition, in the invoices to be accrued for the monthly natural gas consumption for the period until May 1, 2024, the natural gas fee will not be collected for the consumption up to 25 cubic meters.
System usage fees for natural gas consumption will be covered by the budget of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources.
