Mayor Yüce announced that the Söğütlü Tokmaklıdere Bridge will be renewed. Stating that they will demolish the deformed existing bridge, Yüce said, “We will build a new bridge with a length of 30 meters and a width of 13 meters. Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem Yüce heralded that they will add a new one to the bridge construction and renovation works. Expressing that all preparations for the Söğütlü Tokmaklıdere Bridge have been completed, Yüce shared that the works will begin in a short time. Expressing that Tokmaklıdere Bridge has a very important place for regional transportation, Chairman Yüce stated that they will demolish the existing bridge and build a new one.
Mayor Ekrem Yüce, who stated that they have reached the strong service hand of the Metropolitan to all districts, said, “As it is known, we have carried out the maintenance and repairs of the bridges at different points of our city. One of our last works was Mollaköy Bridge. We will complete and put it into service in a short time. Likewise, our fellow citizens had requests for the renewal of the Söğütlü Tokmaklıdere Bridge. President Ekrem Yüce, who also included the details of the new bridge project in his explanations, said, “We will completely demolish the existing bridge, which is deformed and does not meet the need, and we will build a new bridge with a length of 30 meters and a width of 13 meters. There will also be 20 bored piles for safe transportation. During the construction process of our new single-span bridge, transportation will be made via alternative routes. Hopefully, with the completion of our work on the bridge, the transportation security in the region will be maximized," he said.
