Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Uğur İbrahim Altay opened the Meram Çamlıbel Landscaping Project, which was brought to the city by the Metropolitan Municipality. Meram Mayor Mustafa Kavuş said, "I would like to express my gratitude to the Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality, who knows the value of Meram and tries to increase it even more." Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay said, “We are running for this city, we are making an effort. We are determined to make our city even better. We are working day and night for this. Meram is one of the most important brands of Konya. With the work we do, this region will turn into one of the most beautiful areas of our Konya.”
Speaking at the program held in Meram Çamlıbel, Meram Mayor Mustafa Kavuş said, “This is actually the heart of Meram. Previously, we had buildings in the region that did not suit Meram. Our Metropolitan Municipality has spent serious effort and money here, first demolishing the buildings with expropriations. Afterwards, the area around the bath was cleaned and this beautiful view emerged. In fact, Meram is about to have much better days than before, it's almost time. Meram's moments from Meram's plight. Our Metropolitan Mayor is also from Meram. Hopefully, Meram's glorious days are almost gone. Today's opening is not just an opening, it is also the beginning of those good days. Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that they carried out 17 opening and groundbreaking ceremonies in three days, and they covered more than 1.000 kilometers in this process. Reminding that they have opened and laid the foundations of 3 billion lira works together with the suburbs in Konya, Mayor Altay said, “We are running for this city, we are making an effort. We are determined to make our city even better. We are working day and night for this. An investment of 42 million was made in this region at the current price. Meram is one of the most important brands of Konya. With the arrival of spring, it is an area where we all take a breath by holding the hands of the children. As stated by our mayor in this region, the expropriation works of some buildings have been completed. In their place, parks and green spaces were built. In particular, an important investment was made regarding the floor of the Tavus Baba Mosque. We are immediately moving the location of the Governor's Mansion in this region to another region. We will arrange a recreation area and a park of 20 thousand square meters in that region, so that we will have the opportunity to drink tea together under the oldest apelite trees of Meram. On the one hand, we are carrying out an expropriation work from the Çamlıbel Restaurant just behind us to the Dere Yolu. When it is completed, this region will turn into one of the most beautiful areas of our Konya, together with the Aydın Sergeant Facilities built by our Meram Municipality.

After the speeches, Mayor Altay and the protocol inaugurated the Meram Çamlıbel Landscaping, the construction of which was completed by the Metropolitan Municipality.
