Izmir Metropolitan Municipality opened the Menemen Hasanlar Bridge to traffic, which will bring the two sides of the Gediz River together and provide comfortable and safe transportation for the citizens. With the commissioning of the bridge, which cost 35,6 million TL, the road between the two neighborhoods decreased from 15 kilometers to 2 kilometers.

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality continues its investments to ease the traffic flow of the city and to provide safe and comfortable transportation. Finally, the construction of the Menemen Hasanlar Bridge, which connects the two sides of the Gediz River, was completed and the bridge was opened to traffic. The vehicle bridge, built by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Department of Science Affairs, cost 35,6 million TL.

Transportation between Hasanlar and Emiralem became easier

The highway bridge, which was built on the Gediz River, was 3 meters long, with 1 spans, 1 departure and 83 arrival. The bridge connects Emiralem and Hasanlar Mahallesi. Citizens living in Hasanlar Neighborhood and its surroundings in Görece, İğnedere, Haykıran, Bağcılar, Bozova, Turgut, Çukurköy, Karakuzu, Çıtak, Uzunhasanlar, Telekler and Süleymanlı neighborhoods can now easily reach the place where the schools, health centers and farmers in Emiralem District take their products. The distance between Hasanlar Mahallesi and Emiralem decreased from 15 kilometers to 2 kilometers thanks to the bridge.
