Küçükçekmece Municipality Folk Dance Ensemble received full marks from the audience at the Folk Dance Festival held at Sefaköy Culture and Art Center. During the 2-day festival, nearly 7 students from all age groups from 70 to 800; He staged folk dances in many different regions, from novels to modern dance, from rhythm to the Black Sea region.

The people of Küçükçekmece showed great interest in the show of the Küçükçekmece Municipality Folk Dance Ensemble, which aims to endear the folk dances, which is a cultural treasure, to everyone and pass it on from generation to generation.

Küçükçekmece Municipality Culture and Social Affairs Director Güney Özkılınç, who watched the festival, said, “Our Folk Dance Group, which was established in 2020, continues to work with 7 instructors and 1520 students who are experts in their fields. Folk dance volunteers of all ages, consisting of children, young people and adults in 10 different regions, receive free training at Cennet, Sefaköy and Atakent Culture and Art Centers. Congratulations to every member of this big family.
