Keçiören Municipality Wins the Turkish Cuisine Week

Keçiören Municipality won the first place in the competition organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism at the Turkish Cuisine Week Ankara Events held in Ankara Nation's Garden between May 24-27. Keçiören Municipality participated in the gastronomic feast with the local delicacies of the district, Ottoman sherbet, höşmerim, and Ankara style tandoori.

While exhibiting the rich and rooted gastronomic culture of all the districts of the Capital, the products produced by local producers with natural and traditional methods were also offered for sale in the organic market established here.

Keçiören Mayor Turgut Altınok thanked the cooks and employees who brought Keçiören to the first place in Turkish Cuisine Week Ankara Events and emphasized that the event is important in promoting Turkish cuisine and Ankara cuisine.
