Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality (GBB) Mayor Fatma Şahin heralded that one thousand houses will be offered for sale in the 'Güneyşehir 14nd Stage Housing Project', which will be produced within the scope of the 2 thousand housing project implemented by GBB.
President Şahin, on the occasion of the 19 May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day, will provide ease of owning a house to young people who want to get married due to high rent, and the houses will be opened for workers, civil servants or retired citizens throughout the province to become homeowners.
In the project where only Turkish citizens can apply; The person must live in Gaziantep or be registered with the provincial population, and must have completed the age of 18 as of the date of application. The conditions for not having an independent residence registered in the title deed within the provincial borders of Gaziantep on themselves and their spouses will be sought.
Only one application will be made on behalf of the person and his/her spouse, if more than one application is made, the applications will be deemed invalid.
Citizens who want to apply can apply to Gazikont A.Ş. between 10 May – 16 June 2023. They will be able to make their applications through the sales office and gazikonut.com addresses. With the start of applications throughout the province, approximately 12 applications were received in the first 5000 hours.

Mayor Şahin, in his statement on the subject, stated that a large number of houses should be built in order to reduce the rental prices, and said, "Building a nest is from you, support is from Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality".
In the continuation of his speech, Şahin emphasized that they established Gazikonut A.Ş. to meet the housing need and continued with the following words:
“When we talk to you, 'Sir, we want to get married. But you say the rent prices are too high. You are absolutely right. In this city, we need to build a lot of houses in order to reduce the rent prices. And when President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan came here, he said that he would build 100 thousand houses. We also established Gazikonut A.Ş. so that we can meet this housing need faster through the company. We have already announced our first phase thousand houses. Now we are announcing our second phase thousand residences. The construction of the houses to be built as 2+1 and 3+1 in the second phase of Güneyşehir continues. The delivery of the first phase will take place between March and May 2024. The next stages are in Kuzeyşehir, Güneyşehir, Fistikkent and Bayramlı.
