Diyarbakir Metropolitan Municipality has started to offer the convenience of contactless payment by credit card in urban public transportation vehicles.
The Transportation Department has completed the necessary investments and studies for contactless debit and credit card boarding in the Metropolitan Municipality and private public buses, which provide public transportation services throughout the city.
Citizens will be able to benefit from public transportation vehicles with their contactless debit cards.
Virtual card work continues
Continuing its efforts to use today's technology opportunities in public transportation to the fullest and to remove the barriers to accessibility, the Metropolitan Municipality will soon implement the virtual card application.
With the application, thanks to the phones that support this technology, citizens will be able to travel with their smartphones without having to carry a card.
