The delivery of all trains to be used on Indonesia's Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway has been completed, with the last three sets of high-speed trains loaded onto the ship from Qingdao Port in eastern China to Indonesia.

Headquartered in Guangzhou, COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers Co. Ltd. (COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers Limited) said on Saturday it has 11 trains and one comprehensive rail test train between high-speed electric multiple units (EMUs). The company has developed a customized solution for the delivery of trains, with the trains being shipped in batches from August 2022. The high-speed rail line is being implemented under the China-led Belt and Road Initiative and includes Indonesia's capital, Jakarta, and another major city. It stands out as a symbolic project that unites Bandung. The line, which is designed to reach a speed of 350 kilometers per hour, will reduce the journey time between Jakarta and Bandung, which exceeds 3 hours, to approximately 40 minutes.
